01 / ABOUT ME

Complex problems.
Clear thinking.

I’m building independent software products, bringing together deep systems experience, product thinking, and a practical approach to solving complex problems.

Today, I work independently on my own products: Ember Crest for commerce, Sarvalekha for software lifecycle insight, and the upcoming Shilpalekha CAD/3D design tool. I bring the same clarity, resourcefulness, and attention to implementation that shaped my work in large engineering organizations.

My career has taken me from Linux messaging servers and embedded multimedia to Windows internals, graphics drivers, low-latency trading, and global data-center capacity planning. The common thread is understanding how a system really works, finding the constraint, and simplifying the solution.

Previously, at Google, I led technical direction for a capacity-optimization planning engine. Before that, I helped build engineering teams at Omnissa, shaped compliance architecture at Atlassian, and improved reliability and recovery in Adobe Illustrator.

How I lead

  • Build engineering teams

Helped build engineering capability across multiple teams at Omnissa, establishing ownership, shared delivery practices, and technical direction during a major transition.

  • Resolve ambiguity

Turned unclear requirements and ownership into concrete priorities and execution plans at Google and Omnissa.

  • Resolve conflicts between teams

Aligned teams with competing priorities at Google through shared goals, operational evidence, and clear decision criteria.

  • Mentor senior engineers

Coached Staff and Senior Engineers at Omnissa and guided peer technical leaders while staying close to implementation.

  • Optimize resources

Improved infrastructure utilization at Google, balanced staffing and priorities at Omnissa, and reduced recovery time and storage needs at Adobe.
